A published calendar can be shown on your own website and passed on. Everything you need sits in one place in calpit: the Integrations menu entry. Pick the calfeed you want at the top – widget, subscribe link, and downloads then refer to exactly that calendar.
Widget for your website
Under “Website widgets” you pick the layout – depending on the content, for example calendar, agenda, schedule, list, or gallery – and adjust colors and heading. A live preview shows every change immediately. Below it you find the ready-made embed code: an iframe you paste at the desired spot on your website. It comes with width:100% so the widget adapts to your content area, a starting height of 720 pixels, and border:0. Height and border can be adapted to your layout.
If you have several calendars, there is an additional calendar overview embed that bundles all published calfeeds of your account page – handy for a central events page.
Subscribe link, subscribe button, and QR code
Under “Share & subscribe” you find a shareable subscribe link. It leads to a subscribe page where visitors choose the calendar service they already use – Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and others. Put that link on your website, in newsletters, social media, messengers, or print material. For the website it is also available as a ready-made HTML link labelled “Subscribe to calendar” that you can style to match your site. For posters, flyers, and presentations, a QR code is available for download next to it.
The subscribe page links discreetly back to the public calfeed; depending on your booked package, the calovo logo appears there as well.
Prerequisite: the calendar must be published
Widget, subscribe link, and QR code are only generated for published calfeeds. There are three states:
- Published and listed: discoverable on calovo, widget and subscribe link work.
- Published but private: not listed in search and overviews, yet widget and subscribe link still work. “Private” here means unlisted, not password-protected – whoever has the link or the embed code gets in and can pass it on.
- Offline: no public code is generated, and the widget and subscribe addresses are unreachable.
For access-restricted calfeeds with managed subscriptions, calovo deliberately generates no public widget or subscribe code: an embedded address would otherwise be directly reachable and would bypass the approval step.
